Default 2 types of MM's, Something old, new, different...

First, my main type of Necro MM, the high energy walking nuke that is Taste of Death Nova!

16 Death Magic
9 Soul Reaping
10 Inspiration

Deathly Swarm - Gotta do something while waiting for bodies...
Animate Bone Minions - cheap, and 2/corpse
Death Nova - kaboom
Taste of Death - instant hp, energy, and explosion, all in one!
Infuse Condition - no need for plague touch eh?
Energy Drain {E} - If you need to up a corpse fast, this helps u do it.
Drain Enchantment - Need to drop that defense, gain some e. too.
Res Signet

And now a newly modified upgraded MM. Yay!

16 Death Magic
9 Soul Reaping
10 Inspiration

Deathly Swarm - again, do something!
Animate Flesh Golem {E} - booyah!
Animate Vampiric Horror - hp to feed your minions really
Infuse Condition - yay for no conditions
Dark Bond - yay for 25% dmg, that's a LOT of fake AL [it lasts longer than recycle so 0 BM is fine]
Blood of the Master
Energy Tap
Drain Enchantment or Res Signet

The first build explains itself almost and is a redesign of my old build that does resemble the pre-made.

The 2nd build is to capitalize on the upgrade [not NERF] of new beefier MM's. Having 10 backup including the almighty Flesh Golem is NOT my idea of weak and since 9 of them feed YOU hp, doing Blood of the Master shouldn't be a big deal. Using some Blood Magic, you gain the very dangerous armor known as Dark Bond and you can either res teammates or steal energy for your minions. Keep animating them since each newly animated minion kills your very last oldest minion keeping you in tip-top shape.

What's REALLY nice is that the golem is never without a corpse to exploit... yay*

Any ideas? I'm thinking more PvE than PvP, well, the first one does better for pvp since it's more short term...

its nicde to see ppl trying to overcome anet's hate against necros (remembr putrid?) and i have been tryin to see a posotive side of this nerf. the 10 minions may be easy to upkeep, but having 15-25 was way more fun, and seperated the l33t mm's from the rest. unlike some, i have not given up/deleted necro, instead ive jus played aroun wit different skill combos. i may give this a try tho, even tho im n/mo. either way, good thinkin

I think N/Mo means you're still doing some classic stuff, thing is the two modes allow for GREAT flexibility.

You can make bombers for the short term, which imho takes more skill than spamming heals to keep them alive, or you can go ahead and try to see how LONG you can keep your army of 10 up.

From what I've tested newly, I've discovered that Death Magic alone may be enough to keep your army going ^_^. Yay for BotM buff!

Yeah, BotM has the theoretical power to handle your minions by itself. It's just a metter of keeping your energy up and avoiding Saccing yourself to death in the process.

I don't see the point of stacking points into Inspiration when you could just put a few more into Soul Reaping and get the same effect... I can definatly see more people using Putrid Explosion when they don't need a corpse, nice to shock monks in FoW using Restore Life too
